This was the advice given by a wise professor on my first day of grad school over 20 years ago.

I had no idea how important this would be or how often I would think of those words over the course of my career and my life.

The world is uncertain. Business is too.

So we have to expect that situations will be difficult, we will be challenged, and we may feel uncomfortable.

But we need to move forward and be able to adapt. More importantly, be willing to be adaptable.

This is critical for us all, especially if you are responsible for making change happen.

Ambiguity is your friend.
