In life, you constantly feel like you’re competing with someone… for that next job, next sale, next goal, or last piece of pizza.
Our whole life, we’ve been advised not to underestimate anyone.
Assume they’re working as hard or harder than you. Assume they’re as smart or smarter than you. Assume they’re learning, developing, evolving and improving as much or more than you. Assume their desire is equal or greater than yours.
This perspective can be a strong motivator.
But a lot of the time, your biggest competition is you. Your imposter syndrome. Your fear. Your confidence. Your belief.
Don’t underestimate yourself.
Always bet on you.
And then go see what you can do.
Whether you think you can or think you can’t – you’re right.
